There
is a poem by Jorge Luis Borges (Mateo XXV, 30)
which has a deep meaning for me.
It goes more less so:
“You
have been given this… you have been given that…
and the Poem is still not written.”
Later,
he adds in post-scriptum:
“Considering
the final words, this poem should always be the last one”
I
feel exceptionally near to this idea of endless search and unreachable
ideal.
It represents an important outlook towards life in general and
to me essential
for musical interpretation and creativeness.
